Handmade shoe manufacturers began to gather in the 1970s to form a street and make history. Today, there are some 350 handmade shoe manufacturers, 100 intermediate processing and raw materials companies, and new cafes with unique vibes opening up one after another. SUPER JUNIOR Donghae 
This is a cafe run by SUPER JUNIOR’s Donghae, and inside the cafe, photos taken by Donghae himself are displayed. It is decorated in a quiet and cozy manner with a modern atmosphere, and the photo zone for taking mirror shots is considered a specialty. Milk tea made at the store is popular. Desserts and drinks are delicious, but there are tables with plugged-in outlets, so it has become known as a good cafe for working or studying on a laptop.

This bakery in Seongsu-dong boasts a colorful and unique visual, and is gaining popularity for its “cruffin,” a hybrid of a croissant and muffin. The menu includes a variety of breads and desserts, such as canelé, pound cake, crumble, and mille-feuille, making it a paradise for bread-lovers. The courtyard of the building, which was remodeled from an old factory, has thick bushes and a small square pond, offering a unique view. The floor-to-ceiling windows in this two-story building create the feeling of a wide, open space, making it full of photo opportunities.

Chickpeace is located near Exit 4 of Seongsu Station on Seoul Metro Line 2. The restaurant also has a parking lot for customers with vehicles. Chickpeace is a Mediterranean and Middle Eastern salad restaurant that features hummus, falafel, shakshuka, and pita. This restaurant is located next to Shoe Theme Park in Seongsu-dong and is spacious and clean. There are a variety of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern menu items: vegan salad, avocado salad, grilled shrimp rice, salmon steak rice, vegan pita bowl set, chicken shakshuka, and more. Yeonmujang-gil in Seongsu-dong, known for old factories and a shoe workshop street, has been reborn as a place of trendy cafes and culture. The energy of car repair shops, printing factories, and handmade shoes street still exist today but, as global restaurant brands, select shops, and cafes have set up amidst busily operating factories, an atmosphere unique to Seongsu-dong has been created. "Daerim Warehouse" led to the change in the Seongsu-dong streets and can be said to be the originator of all warehouse-style cafes that are popular throughout Cafe Street today. The red-brick structure, antique signboards, and a vast indoor space of an old warehouse have been maintained and, with the addition of a sensuous interior design, it has become a space suitable for fashion shows and exhibits, thus showing new potential for old Seongsu-dong architecture. Every day, new cafes, bakeries, restaurants, and cultural complexes open their doors and are busy welcoming visitors.

TONGUE Seongsu Space is located about 280 meters away from Exit 3, Seongsu Station (Seoul Subway Line 2). Note that the shop does not have its own parking lot. It is a cafe that pursues the sensual moment in which the taste is registered and communicated by the tongue, and its interior features a color palette to match that logic. Menu available includes Shellin Crown Croissant, Shellin Crown Mini Croissant, Mini Dot Cake, Emoji Cake (fruit), and Giant Emoji Cake (fruit). Because of its proximity to Seoul Forest, one can go for a leisurely walk there. This is a canvas drawing cafe where Yuna of ITZY visited and experienced art. It is decorated as a cultural living space where you can draw and color. Drawing tools such as sketches, acrylic paints, and brushes are provided. It is also interesting that there is a mobile phone holder so that you can capture your drawing as a time-lapse.
