The story centers on Yeong-ju, whose life unravels after quitting her job and going through divorce. Clinging to one last hope, she opens a small neighborhood bookstore. What starts as an unnoticed space gradually fills with regular customers, and through writing workshops held in the store, both Yeong-ju and her patrons begin to rediscover and embrace their lives..
At its heart, the production portrays how listening to one another’s stories can bring healing and encouragement. It delivers a gentle message of comfort—that it’s okay to pause in life—and leaves audiences with a warm and inspiring message.
