Daejeon Travel Lounge is a cultural complex that provides tourist information and relaxation for those visiting Daejeon. Hanbat Sikdang is a traditional Korean restaurant that opened in 1955. It specializes in various Korean soup dishes made with a broth simmered from beef bones for over five hours. The signature dish is Sohanmari tang (Ox bone soup special), a type of rich gomtang (beef bone soup). The menu also includes seolleongtang (ox bone soup), doganitang (ox knee soup), galbitang (galbi soup), and suyuk (boiled pork slices). It is conveniently located near the KTX Daejeon Station.

Located near Daejeon Station, Kkumdori House promotes the city's tourist attractions and sells souvenirs. Samdaejjae Jeontong Kalguksu is a restaurant located near Daejeon Station, specializing in kalguksu (noodle soup). The menu consists of kalguksu and suyuk (boiled pork slices), with a seasonal addition of kongguksu (noodles in cold soybean soup) during the summer. The kalguksu at this restaurant is characterized by its rich and hearty broth, made from a Korean beef bone base that is simmered for an extended period. Known for its affordable prices, the restaurant enjoys a loyal following among its customers.

Gaecheon Sikdang, located in Daejeon Jungang Market, is a restaurant specializing in mandu. They are known for their handmade Hamgyeongdo-style mandu. The menu offers a variety of dishes including manduguk (mandu soup), gukbap (rice soup), jjinmandu (steamed mandu), and deep-fried mandu. The signature dish of the restaurant is manduguk, which is distinguished by its boiled pork slices and glass noodles, offering a hearty and flavorful experience similar to the enjoyment of galbitang (galbi soup).
