Phil Hospital of Korean Medicine, located in Daejeon, is a training hospital designated by the Ministry of Health and Welfare. With 8 specialized professionals (including 2 doctors) and 70 patient beds, we offer a wide range of services. Director Yoon Je-pil, a specialist in Korean medicine rehabilitation, brings 18 years of experience from a renowned Korean medicine hospital, 7 years at our hospital, and 8 years of international experience in the United States and Africa, making him an excellent choice for international patients. Our head of internal medicine is fluent in Japanese. 

 We have a women-only immunization ward where we provide immune-boosting foods.
Dedicated staff for international patients and private waiting and treatment areas are also available.

Sariwon, established in 1952, is a renowned Pyeongyang naengmyeon (Pyeongyang cold buckwheat noodles) restaurant. Founded by a North Korean native, the restaurant has become nationally famous for its authentic Pyeongyang naengmyeon flavor. The rich broth, a blend of beef stock simmered for hours and matured dongchimi (radish water kimchi) broth, is full of flavor. The restaurant is also known for its smooth, house-made buckwheat noodles.

Pungjeon Samgyetang specializes in samgyetang (ginseng chicken soup), a Korean nutritious food. The signature dish is samgyetang made with young chicken filled with sweet rice, ginseng, jujubes, and chestnuts, slowly cooked to perfection. The dish is served in a hot pot to retain heat, allowing it to be enjoyed warm for an extended period. Additionally, the generous haemul pajeon (seafood and green onion pancake) and dotorimung muchim (acorn jelly salad) are also special treats.

Guibin Dolsotbap is a Korean restaurant located near the Daejeon Arts Center. Their signature dish is dolsotbap (hot stone pot rice), served with a generous spread of around 20 different types of vegetables and side dishes, allowing diners to enjoy a satisfying meal. The cuisine is generally characterized by its healthy approach without overly strong seasoning. Mixing the salad side dishes and dolsotbap with the red chili paste sauce enhances the overall flavor.
